It’s a slow day at The daily Grope, but here’s what I’ve come across lately.
One TSA screener, seeing a young woman coming through the security area, says to another: “heads up, got a cutie for you.”
A woman Missouri speaks of her recent experience with the TSa: “Under any other circumstance, if a person touched me like that without my permission, it would be considered criminal sexual assault.”
A little humor, of sorts:
The TSA is going after John Tyner, the man who became a YouTube sensation with his video of his encounter with the TSA. As one news report says, “Tyner’s stand tapped into an undercurrent of resentment toward the TSA and how security checks are conducted at the nation’s airports.” This won’t help.
Waiting for Congress to take action? Maybe not. members of Congress get to bypass security–even when they do fly commercial.
